Email phishing attacks have greatly increased during the COVID-19 pandemic. While professionals are relying on email correspondence more than ever due to remote work, cyber attackers are taking advantage of the condition. They mostly disguise themselves as close professional connections and reliable sources.
Watch out for:
► Emails, websites, and apps claiming to be from organizations offering information on the virus.
► Phishing emails asking for personal information in order to provide economic stimulus from the government or airline carrier refunds, asking for contributions to charitable organizations, cures, vaccines, etc.
► Misspelled domains with links, for example, an address that should end in .gov ends in .com instead. If you are not sure, check on the official website of the organization.
Do not:
► Click links and/or open attachments from the senders you do not trust as malware can be delivered to your computer in order to steal personal information or lock your computer and demand payment.
► Send your personal information via email or robocall.

Where have insects disappeared?
The number of insects is dramatically declining all over the world, especially in urban environments. Do you hate it when a bee’s buzzing around your head? Think again – bees are crucial for a healthy environment and food production. They, together with other insects and birds, keep the life cycle turning.
The Dutch City of Utrecht has introduced a simple yet efficient solution to boost urban biodiversity and help capture fine dust and store rainwater – by creating “green roofs” for bus stops.

According to The European Data Market Monitoring Tool, the data market will triple its value in 2025 compared to 2013, from around € 47 billion to € 141 billion. Bringing data awareness into the company does not mean data scientists have to be hired, but it actually means that data should be talked about and taken into account in all sectors in order to make relevant decisions.
PanonIT is implementing a DATALIT project that is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. One of the project activities implemented is a qualitative research conducted through online questionnaires.
The aim of this online questionnaire is to collect opinions, needs, and expectations of the main target groups: higher education professionals, employers, students, researchers, HR managers, university students. The research done within DATALIT will help to identify best practices and experiences of data literacy inclusion in EU higher education and to better understand the needs and expectations of the target groups. Furthermore, the project partners will define a common understanding of data literacy as competence and design a syllabus to orient the creation of data courses.
Help us collect the relevant data – fill in this online questionnaire in Serbian, please. It will not take you more than 5 minutes. Thank you!
